Price is for 1 x 454g/16oz jar.
4 apiary sites to choose from, all taste fabulous!!
My homebees are located in my back garden on Canford Heath, Poole (yellow label) have the largest lowland Heath in the UK to forage on plus the many urban gardens, trees, and shrubs.
The hives at Canford Magna, Wimborne (cerise label) again have close access to Canford Heath, 3 local garden centres and the large local housing estate gardens.
My blueberry girlies are located on a blueberry farm in Stapehill, Wimborne (blue label)so again have a huge variety of different plants on the Ferndown heath Wimborne, Dorset, local gardens and 20 acres of blueberry bushes. This harvest will contain a large percentage of blueberry blossom nectar.
My Country girls in Shapwick at Wimborne (green label)are located on an 880 acre farm and produce a gorgeous amber honey full of unique flavours from the variety of hedgerows, trees, wild flowers and river side plants.
As soon as you twist off the lid and get a waft of the sweet, light and floral decadent golden sticky goodness that lies within you know you are in for a divine taste sensation. This Summer harvest is absolutely gorgeous and is fantastic on porridge, pancakes, used as a sweetener for hot drinks or simply spread on hot buttered toast - YUM!
My honey is unprocessed and unheated, simply collected using an extractor, spun for a minute or two to remove the liquid gold from the uncapped frames. It is then run through a fine mesh sieve to remove the larger particles of wax and then jarred ready for sale.
My girls have worked hard over the last few months visiting 1000's of flowers and trees, travelling 100's of miles. I try to be a natural beekeeper disturbing the hives as little as possible so the bees can get on with their business. I have ensured they all had enough supplies to get through last Winter and emerged into Spring buzzing with life so I have a little excess honey to share with you.You may find what appears to be white foam on the top of your honey, this is the air bubbles that have been caused by the extraction process rising up and settling, however trapped in these bubbles are tiny particles of extra goodness like pollen and propolis so I don't remove it.
